Yu-Cheng Hsiao joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University in 2024. His current research focuses on building prototypes and developing algorithms for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC). He is also interested in Reconfigurable Antennas and AI-Driven Antenna Design and Optimization. While he is also known as Garrett, he prefers to be referred to as Yu-Cheng Hsiao in academic writings.
