Yingying Fan is a sixth-year PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) researching application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design for bio-sensors, bio-actuators, and biology-electronics hybrid systems for neural interface and healthcare applications. She also holds a M.S. degree from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Southeast University, China. She has been recognized with numerous prestigious honors, including the 2024 Rising Star in EECS by MIT, the 2024 Rising Star in SSCS, the Future Faculty Fellow, the Nettie S. Autrey Fellowship from Rice University, the 2024 CASS Pre-Doctoral Grant, the 2022 SSCS Predoctoral Achievement Award, the 2021 MTT-S Graduate Fellowship Award for Medical Applications.
