Thomas is a second year Ph.D. student in the Yi Quantum Spectroscopy Lab, probing novel quantum materials using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). This powerful technique allows for direct mapping of the electron momenta and energies responsible for the wide array of exotic properties in condensed matter physics today. He is an alum of the University of Louisville, where he received a B.S. in Physics.
