Tara Oluwafemi is a PhD student in the Rice University Department of Art History. Her research explores the intersection of digital space and outer space in the Black imaginary. As part of this research, Tara investigates the architectural infrastructure and physical apparatuses that mediate and facilitate digital experiences and space travel. She received a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi medal for leadership and professional merit. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies and French from Amherst College.
