I am a Master of Engineering Management and Leadership student at Rice University, and I am currently serving as the Vice President of Professional Development for the MEML Student Association. In this role, I focus on helping our graduate MEML community grow through mentorship, intentional skill building, and meaningful industry connections. I believe that professional development is not only about technical readiness, but also about confidence, clarity of purpose, and support from peers and mentors.
Before joining Rice, I worked in the B2B IT SaaS industry in roles that blended customer leadership, product thinking, and engineering collaboration. These experiences helped me understand how technical teams work, how products evolve, and how important it is to center people in every decision. This shaped my passion for human centered problem solving and influences how I design development opportunities for MEML students.
At Rice, I am fully immersed in coursework and projects that combine product strategy, data science, engineering leadership, ethics, cybersecurity, machine learning, AI and modern systems thinking.
I love to work in a reflective and collaborative way. I communicate best through clear structure, visual storytelling, and a people first mindset. My goal in this role is to create spaces where MEML students feel supported, prepared, and inspired to explore the careers and impact they want to build.
Above all, I want to help build a strong and supportive MEML community where students feel seen, encouraged, and empowered in their professional journeys. Also, they feels confident in their abilities and excited about their future. I look forward to contributing to a space where we can learn from one another, celebrate progress, and grow together as emerging engineering leaders.
