Sarah Jimenez is a native Venezuelan, second-year PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering working at the Organ Engineering Research Laboratory in the Regenerative Medicine Division of the Texas Heart Institute under the guidance of Dr. Camila Hochman-Mendez and Dr. Jane Grande-Allen. Sarah is very excited to serve as an Outreach and Professional Development Chair this year. A fun fact about Sarah is that she's adventurous and is one belt away from getting her black belt degree. She also recently hiked the Patagonia in Argentina.
