Hi! My name is Ramon Fulgencio, and I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. I am a senior from Duncan College majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business, and I am currently on the pre-graduate track. I am a strong advocate for travel and believe that studying abroad can be a valuable way to learn about different perspectives and communities. 

During Summer 2025, I participated in the Summer Undergraduate  Research Fellowship at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I later studied in Tokyo, Japan, through the CIEE Arts and Sciences Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. I also participated in the short-term Rice in Paris program. 

Students can talk to me about LGBTQ+ identity and resources abroad, studying abroad as a first-generation and low-income student, Questbridge, conducting research abroad, adjusting to a full academic year, and finding community while living abroad. I am happy to share my challenges and travel stories with everyone.
