Phylicia Lee Brown is a Ph.D. fellow and research assistant at Rice University’s department of Sociology and Spatial Processes And City Environments Collaborative (SPACE Co). Her research broadly examines how the built environment interacts with the natural environment to reproduce and reinforce social inequalities. Phylicia received her B.A. in Sociology with Summa Cum Laude Honors from the University at Buffalo, New York.
