Paul Burch holds a PhD in English from Rice University. His research interests include American literature and culture, film and media, automobility studies, and critical regionalism. He has taught a range of classes on literature and film and has also worked extensively as a writing consultant, writing coach, and TA. His journal publications include a recent piece on the films of Terrence Malick and a forthcoming article on Willa Cather.
