Nasim Koohi is a sociology doctoral student and graduate research assistant in the Racism and Racial Experiences (RARE) Workgroup at Rice University. Her research interests include health at the intersection of race/ethnicity, religion, and immigration. Nasim Koohi earned her M.A. in sociology from the University of Houston. Nasim is originally from Iran.
