Melissa Tariq Rodriguez is a sophomore from Hanszen College studying Business (Finance) and Social Policy Analysis. Her policy interests lie in economic development, gender equity, and education. Outside of classes, she is involved in Rice Program Council (RPC) and has contributed to human factors research with the psychology department. As the communications chair for the SOPA Advisory Committee, Melissa is eager to promote events and opportunities to the student body and gather feedback for constant improvement.
