I am a third-year graduate student. My research interests lie in understanding the human and animal relationship. I am particularly interested in understanding human subsistence strategies and how animal agencies help shape human behavior in the Iron Age period.
I obtained my BA at the University of Zambia, majoring in History and English. Before joining Rice University, I worked as a curator at the Livingstone Museum. I have also worked with other organizations such as 'Read to Succeed', funded by USAID and the 'Center for the Promotion of Literacy in Sub- Saharan Africa', whose primary goal was to improve reading skills and comprehension among early graders in Zambia.
