Maddie is a PhD student in the English department at Rice University. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2023, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors, and a certificate in German. Broadly, Maddie researches the Gothic.
