Madeline Smith-Johnson

Madeline Smith-Johnson is a doctoral student and graduate research assistant in the Department of Sociology at Rice University. Their research uses intersectional frameworks to examine how gender and sexuality relate to health and wellbeing. Madeline earned their B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from James Madison University and an M.Phil in the Sociology of Media and Culture from the University of Cambridge.
