Linyan Zheng is a PhD student at the Department of Religion. She is interested in the intersection of literature and religion. Her current research focuses on the interconnections between Edgar Allan Poe’s apocalyptic-cyclic cosmology and his fictional world with the aim to reveal how Edgar Allan Poe’s cosmology came into being and how his cosmology shaped his literary works.
