Lanie is a graduate student coadvised by Dr. Christina Tringides and Dr. Julea Vlassakis. She is originally from Boston, MA, and did her undergraduate studies at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. While at Tulane, she researched protein aggregation while under dialysis using various light scattering techniques. Her research interests include development of novel in-vitro platforms for studying Alzheimer’s disease, molecular mechanisms and biophysics of protein aggregation, and microscale proteomics. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts, listening to music, and reading.
