Kieran Turner is a doctoral candidate and graduate research assistant in the Spatial Processes and City Environments Collaborative at Rice. Their research broadly focuses on queer space and transgender experience. They received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish from American University. Correct pronouns are they/them.
