Kate Louthain

Kate Louthain is a PhD student in the English department at Rice University. She graduated magna cum laude with her B.A. in English and Sociology from Vanderbilt University in 2022. Before coming to Rice, Kate worked in communications at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Currently, her research interests include 19th-century British, American, and Russian literature; feminist theory; and material culture.
