Julia Szabo is a graduate student in the Sociology department and a research assistant with the Houston Education Research Consortium (HERC). Her research focuses on urban schools and educational inequality. Julia received her B.A. from Middlebury College and a M.Ed. from Arizona State University. Before coming to Rice she was an educator in both Phoenix and Boston.
