Born in Queretaro, Mexico, I graduated from Tecnologico de Monterrey as a Mechanical Engineer. From a very young age, I was exposed to a family environment deeply rooted in hands-on work, machinery, and maintenance. This upbringing introduced me to the world of engineering. Growing up in such an environment meant that problem-solving, tinkering, and mechanical skills were part of my daily life. The constant interaction with such topics sowed the seeds of my passion for engineering and taught me the importance of persistence in the face of complex challenges.
Following my passion for engineering and space, I pursued a minor in aeronautics and completed an internship at GE Aerospace. After graduation, I continued at GE as a Product Definition Engineer, contributing to the design of components and systems for aircraft and marine engines. More recently I expanded into space systems as a Project Manager at Affekta LLC, a NASA STTR startup developing AI diagnostics for deep-space life-support.
I aim to drive innovation within the tech and aerospace sectors, fostering opportunities for engineers and supporting the growth of advanced R&D capabilities between Mexico and global industry partners.
