Hwankyu Kim’s research focuses on apocalyptic thought in Second Temple Jewish literature and the New Testament (particularly the Pauline epistles). His current project is to reframe the discourse of Paul's apocalyptic gospel in 1 and 2 Corinthians in light of the language and logic of divine ethnicity.
