Giuseppe Giorgio joined Rice University in January 2025 to complete his master's thesis and is now a PhD candidate focusing on nanophotonic simulations and terahertz optics. He earned both his BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Bari in Italy, before deciding to pursue his academic career in the United States.
