Gabriella Gagliano is a PhD student in the applied physics program at Rice University. She currently works in the group of professor Anna-Karin Gustavsson where her research focuses on using 3D single-molecule super-resolution imaging and tracking to answer biophysical and biomedical questions. Specifically, she is focused on building adaptable optical systems to improve understanding of cellular function and disease pathogenesis.
