Gabriel is a Fulbright Scholar currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Physics at Rice University. His research, supervised by Dr. Richard Baraniuk, involves using Convolutional Neural Networks to solve complex graph problems. He holds a specialty in Environmental Engineering and Management and a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico. Professionally, he has worked as a research assistant focusing on robotics and artificial intelligence and has taught high school robotics and physics.
