Fabrizio (Fab) is a Ph.D. student in the Human-Computer Interaction & Human Factors (HCI/HF) program at Rice University and is a member of the Computer-Human Interaction (CHIL) lab. His research focuses on applying quantitative, algorithmic methods to solve real-world problems with direct societal and business impact. His work spans multiple domains, including:
- Election Technology: Developing computational models of human performance to automate the ballot design process for improved usability.
- Business Analytics: Creating novel algorithms to automate tasks like customer segmentation and other data-driven decision-making processes.
- User Behavior & Security: Investigating how users interact with key business features, such as two-factor authentication.
Prior to joining Rice University, Fabrizio received his B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University in 2018. During his undergraduate years, he contributed as a programmer and data analyst in multiple neuroscience labs.
