Hello! My name is Esther Jimenez and I am a graduate student in the Biochemistry and Cell Biology Program at Rice. I am in the Ajo-Franklin lab where I work on engineering Caulobacter crescentus to study structure-property relationships in macroscopic living materials to predictively design materials with tailored properties. I am passionate about improving the opportunities for professional development offered to graduate students and helping expand their network and relationships with Rice alumni.
