I value the unique environment of an academic faculty position that allows for innovation at the leading edge of science and engineering, as well as daily inspiration from teaching and working with students and colleagues.

As a Future Faculty Fellow, I am looking forward to the motivation, learning and comradery engendered by achieving career advancements alongside my colleges in the School of Engineering.

Research Areas

In my work I seek to blend chemical and synthetic biology with computational methods to study cell membrane proteins as therapeutic targets and biological signal processors. This research will advance the discovery of next-generation antimicrobials for drug-resistant pathogens and provide a mechanistic understanding of key components in advanced biocomputing.
