Chen Chen is a first-year doctoral student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rice University. Chen works with Dr. Cohan studying the energy transition questions in Texas, with air pollution and human health impacts considered. Prior to starting his doctoral study at Rice, he completed his M.S. degree in Environmental Sciences at Emory University and had a couple of professional experiences in non-profit organizations. In his spare time, Chen loves hiking with his dog, Pepper, or doing small home projects.
