Cassandra N. Phetmisy - PhD Student

​​​​​​Cassandra Phetmisy (she/her/hers) is a PhD candidate at Rice University. She is earning a dual-degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Health Psychology. She received her M.A. in I-O Psychology from Rice University in 2022, and she earned her B.S. from the University of Houston in 2018. Her research focuses on how employees experience and respond to stressors associated with the workplace. Specifically, she investigates topics related to financial stress, pay, resilience, and voice. Cassandra enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening and dancing to live music, as well as exploring museum exhibits. 

Cassandra will start as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Maryland in Fall 2024!
