Brenton Kalinowski

Brenton Kalinowski is a graduate student in the department of sociology and a graduate scholar with the Religion and Public Life Center. His research focuses on knowledge and belief at the intersections of medicine, science, and religion with emphasis on the production of social inequalities. His current projects look at trust in science and healthcare among Black, White, and Latina/o evangelical Christians and religious responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement. Brenton has published work in outlets including Sociology of Religion, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, Sociological Focus, Zygon: Journal of Religion and Science, and The Conversation.
