Brenton Kalinowski (he/him) is a graduate student in the department of sociology and a graduate fellow at the Religion and Public Life Program. His current research focuses on congregational responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and religious understandings of medicine and science. He has also published and presented work on science in India, faith in the workplace, and political polarization.
Brenton previously conducted research on Hinduism in the United States while completing his Master’s in Social Science from the University of Chicago and his Bachelor’s in Anthropology at The College of Wooster.
