Anvy is a doctoral candidate in Applied Physics at Rice University where she is working on Nanophotonics and Plasmonics. She works with Prof. Peter Nordlander, performing calculations to explore and better understand the applications of plasmonic nanostructures. Anvy did her BS-MS, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Physics, from IISER Thiruvananthapuram. She worked with Dr. R. S. Swathi, on an analytical project to model the optical properties of various nanoplasmonic dimers for her master’s. For her minor project, she worked briefly on Boson Sampling with Dr. Anil Shaji.
