Amarah Gray is a sociology graduate student at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Her research interests include race socialization and racial identity development in K-12 school settings. Amarah earned her B.A. in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and her M.A. from Brown University. She is originally from Southern California.
