Alyssa Boerst (she/her) is a senior from Brown College majoring in Social Policy Analysis with a Minor in Environmental Studies. Her interests primarily lie in promoting environmental justice and bipartisan policy making. In the past, she has conducted research on the employment effects of renewable energy, health effects of environmental contamination, and educational outcomes in rural areas. As Career Planning Chair of the SOPA Advisory Committee, Alyssa is excited about connecting students with research and career opportunities in policy-related fields.
