My research interests lie in using Wannier functions within first-principles studies for the aiding materials discovery, specifically for constructing realistic tight-binding models and calculating transport quantities.

Prior to joining Rice, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Julio C. GutiƩrrez Vega on quantum billiard problems and wave resonators, employing boundary integral methods.
