Yu-Kuan Chen is a graduate research assistant at the Texas Policy Lab. He is a Ph.D. student in the Economics Department at Rice University. His work at the Texas Policy Lab centers around criminal justice in Texas, focusing on the estimation and simulation of models based on crime data. Prior to coming to Rice, Yu-Kuan worked on the Research and Evaluation team of Teach for Taiwan, an education nonprofit. He holds a MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Economics from National Taiwan University.
