Yesenia Roman is an Associate Director of Career Development with over a decade of experience supporting students and professionals in their growth and career journeys. She began her career in the classroom as a teacher, where she developed a passion for empowering others through education. She later worked at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on career development and academic support for students navigating their professional paths.
Her experience also includes a graduate public policy fellowship in Washington, D.C., as well as leading learning and development initiatives within a state agency. Across each role, Yesenia has been driven by a commitment to helping individuals build confidence, access opportunities, and make informed career decisions.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish Education from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in Higher Education Leadership & Policy from The University of Texas at Austin.
