Yadira Castro

Yadira Castro serves as a Research Coordinator at the Kinder Institute's Center for Economic Mobility, where she supports projects that focus on helping families and communities overcome barriers to opportunity, especially in education and early childhood.

With a background in teaching and a strong interest in educational equity, she enjoys working with data, policy, and people to create research that makes a real difference. Her research interests include early childhood interventions, educational equity, and economic mobility. She is pursuing a Master's in Social Policy Evaluation from Rice University and has a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature from the National Pedagogical University Francisco Morazán. Outside of work, Yadira enjoys family time, community service, and creative learning activities for children.
