Yadira Castro serves as a Research Coordinator at the Kinder Institute's Center for Economic Mobility and the Texas Policy Lab, where she oversees and manages various research studies and activities. In her role, she ensures the efficient execution of projects, providing valuable insights that support informed policy development.
Her career in education spans early childhood development, social and family support services, and the implementation of effective parenting strategies for diverse cultural and socioeconomic groups. Her work is dedicated to empowering families and strengthening communities. Ms. Castro’s research interests focus on childhood intervention programs, policy evaluation, and the intersection of economics and education.
Mrs. Castro holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the National Pedagogical University of Francisco Morazan.
