Vishwanath is a postdoctoral researcher in the DSP group with Prof. Richard Baraniuk and Prof. Veeraraghavan. Vishwanath’s interests are in the broad area of computational imaging where he solves hard and intractable problems in imaging and machine vision with a co-design of optics and algorithms. He received his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020 where he worked on Spectrally programmable cameras for imaging and inference. Prior to his PhD, he received his MS in ECE from Carnegie Mellon University, and Bachelor of Technology (Hons.) in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
