Traci is a native of the Houston area. After five years in the U.S. Army, she returned home and took over her family's swimming pool business. During the twenty years she operated the business, she earned a BA in History from Texas A&M and an MS in Library Science from the University of North Texas. Traci has been at Rice since 2018 and is the lead archivist at the Woodson Research Center who works with materials that form the South Texas Jewish Archives.
