Tatyana Jimenez-Macias joined the Office of Institutional Effectiveness in November 2024. Before coming to OIE, she worked for The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) as a Program Assessment Coordinator, where she provided support for the institution's programmatic and administrative assessment process. She now works closely with faculty and administrators around campus to ensure compliance with Rice's regional accreditor, SACSCOC. 

Prior to Tatyana's experience in higher education, she was a middle school English and Language Arts teacher. 

Tatyana graduated with a BA in English- Language Arts from the University of North Texas in May 2021.
