Srijita is a Clever Planets Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences at Rice University. She explores processes in the mantle and crust by conducting laboratory experiments, using multimodal imaging techniques, and performing statistical analyses. Her primary focus is on understanding the formation and evolution of carbonatites and the development of critical metal deposits, including rare earth elements (REE), in carbonatites.
