Smit Brahmbhatt joined the Rice Global Center in Paris as Program Assistant in July 2025. Smit is responsible for managing the Rice Global Paris residences, overseeing Resident Assistants, coordinating housing, and supporting events at the center.

Born in India, Smit moved to France in 2019 to pursue a Master’s degree in Hotel Management at Vatel in Nîmes, in the south of France. After graduation, he relocated to Paris, where he worked at various French and American schools. Smit now brings his hospitality expertise and passion for cultural exchange to create a welcoming and enriching experience for Rice students and visitors in Paris.
