Sean Smith serves as the Data Services Specialist at Rice University's Fondren Library and coordinates the Research Data Services team. He teaches introductory courses on programming and data analysis and is available to consult on data sources, management, and analysis and visualization. Sean has experience with a broad range of data analysis and digital humanities projects.

Sean earned a BA in Computer Science and History at Rice before starting a first career as a software engineer at NI (then National Instruments).
