Ruth Dannenfelser works in Vicky Yao's group as a Data Scientist. Prior to Rice, she received her Ph.D. in Computer Science working with Olga Troyanskaya at Princeton University. Her graduate research focused on projects related to cancer and the immune system as well as building web systems to make computational tools more accessible to biologists. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a research assistant at Mount Sinai School of Medicine under Avi Ma'ayan.
