Peyton Ball

Peyton Ball (she/her) is a Houston native and a proud Baylor University alumna. Peyton joined Rice in 2021 as the Assistant Director of Communications in the Center for Civic Leadership. In this role, she spearheaded recruitment efforts for various social justice-oriented programs, events, and initiatives on campus. She provided guidance to student ambassadors on effective communication and peer mobilization practices, while also collaborating with program leads and communications professionals across campus to amplify civic engagement initiatives at Rice and beyond.

In the spring of 2024, Peyton transitioned to the School of Humanities as the Communications and Events Specialist. In her current position, she adeptly manages and creates content for the School of Humanities' social media accounts, showcasing the accomplishments and contributions of faculty, staff, and students. Peyton also oversees event teams, ensuring the production of high-quality Humanities productions.

Outside of her professional commitments, Peyton finds joy in reading, skateboarding, and spending time with her sassy & very energetic dog, Nova.
