Nyeva Pommier is the Executive Director of Programs and Strategic Initiatives for the School of Humanities and Arts. Since joining Rice in 2012, Nyeva has served as a strategic lead for school-wide operations, leveraging her expertise in strategic planning and organizational leadership to advance mission-critical administrative and academic goals.
She directs a portfolio that includes the development and execution of strategic programs, administrative oversight of undergraduate outreach and policy, and the orchestration of school events and logistics for the Dean’s Office.
Beyond her role in Humanities, Nyeva is dedicated to supporting the broader Rice community. Currently in her third year of service, she chairs the Professional Development Committee, championing growth and excellence for staff across the university.
