Nancy Baise

Nancy has 20 years of professional and administrative experience ranging from non-profit to corporate environments. She has a creative background where she began her career at a non-profit art space in Dallas. In 2004, she first started work at Rice University as the Development Coordinator for the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy. She later moved to Los Angeles, where she fulfilled approximately seven years as a business analyst liaising between business and IT to coordinate projects for a large insurance company. She returned to Rice University to work for the Journal of Feminist Economics in 2014 and has continually expanded her role over the years to take on administration of the PJHC program as well. 
 
In her spare time, Nancy enjoys working on creative projects with her twin sister. She loves animals and nature, is passionate about conservation, and volunteers for multiple organizations such as the Houston Audubon, The Native Plant Society of Texas and Armand Bayou Nature Center.
