Her most recent work experience was at Humber College in Toronto where she worked with international students to advise on legal immigration matters and to create programs to help them transition successfully.
Advising Philosophy
Miti is here to help students navigate their transition to university. She believes in supporting students through active listening while also challenging them to clarify/find their inner dialogue. She is there to coach students through study strategies, task management, time management and is open to any discussions of personal wellbeing. She wants students to know that their personal development, outside of the classroom, is just as important (if not more) as their academic success.
