Melissa Salinas joined Rice University in March 2021.  Melissa spent thirteen years in various HR roles with Hilton Hotels & Resorts before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, she obtained her Certified Professional designations from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP) and HR Certification Institute^® (PHR). She is also bilingual and enjoys serving as a resource for our Spanish-speaking staff.
