Introduction:

Maria Salgado joined the SSI team as the Operation Specialist in April 2023. Born and raised in Houston, Maria completed her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electronic Media at Texas State University. After graduation, Maria joined Rice University as the Administrative Assistant for the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department in March 2019 and has continued to serve the Rice community since then. In her spare time, Maria enjoys traveling, going to concerts, reading, and watching movies and tv shows.
